The Pine Bush Teachers' Association is a labor union of over 400 active members representing the teachers, guidance counselors, nurses, physical therapists, school psychologists, speech and language pathologists, and occupational therapists  in the Pine Bush Central School District.  As an association of professional educators, we work with over 5000 students from pre-K through 12th grade in seven different buildings.  Please use the top menu to navigate the site and find the information you are looking for.


Affiliations:

We are a proud local chapter of New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) and affiliated at the national level with the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), the National Education Association (NEA), and the American Federation of Labor-Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO).


Structure:

The PBTA leadership consists of two bodies: the Executive Board and the Representative Council.   Elections for each position are held every two years.
