At Student Council, we make the good times happen.
At Student Council, we make the good times happen.
We are the organization that is responsible for organizing school-wide events to benefit students, staff, and the community. Our goal is to boost school spirit while giving back to the community.
Events we sponsor include:
- Freshman Welcome Day
- Community Trick-or Treat Festival
- Homecoming
- Staff Holiday Party
- Adopt-an-Angel
- Pep Assemblies
- Turnabout
- Blood Drive
We also work to raise money and collect donations for local charities such as YHOP (Youth Hunger Opposition in Palatine) and Partners for Our Communities.
Our biggest events of the year are Homecoming and Turnabout. We are responsible for picking the theme, decorating the halls for the dance, promoting spirit week, and organizing the Royal Rally and Golf Cart Parade for Homecoming.
At the end of each semester, our most dedicated members are selected to attend an outing to celebrate our accomplishments.
