"Nonlocal Codes" organized jointly by One Nonlocal World and JPER

Registration and abstract submission are CLOSED: please, contact M. D'Elia (mdelia@sandia.gov) in case you want to attend.

In this event, we will present the current state of the art of nonlocal codes. We will have 11 presentations.

1. Models of interest include Fractional, Nonlocal, and Peridynamics

2. Both mesh-free and mesh-based discretizations will be featured

3. All codes will be available publicly and documented by the time of the event

TUTORIALS: follow-up tutorials are scheduled for Tuesday, December 7th 2021, you can find the schedule here.

The event videos will be available on our Youtube Channel: link will be provided after the tutorials.

WHEN: Dec 2nd 2021, 7:00AM-11:30AM Pacific Time, 10:00AM-2:30PM Eastern Time.

WHERE: a Zoom link for this event will be provided by email to all registered participants.

The SCHEDULE can be found here.

The LIST OF ABSTRACTS can be found here, a summary is provided below.

The codes in the repos are public and free for you to use. When you do so, we ask that you act fairly, by citing the author and highlighting potential modifications that may alter the author's original contribution and the performance of the code. In fact, our suggestion is that you directly contact the authors in case you are planning to use their codes in your work. We also point out that the codes are provided to the community as research tools rather than production-quality software, and they should not be applied naively.

Abstracts are numbered according to the breakout room where the code will be discussed.
