Conference Aims and Objectives

The "Operators, Functions, and Systems of Mathematical Physics Conference" will take place from May 21 to May 24, 2018, at the Department of Mathematics of Khazar University, Baku, Azerbaijan.

The conference intends to bring together leading experts and young researchers in mathematical physics from European and the regional countries (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, Russia, and Turkey). The idea of the conference is to discuss recent developments and progress in mathematical physics. In particular, it will be covered the following subjects:

• General operators and spectral theory
• Analysis of Partial Differential Equations of Mathematical Physics
• Bases, Frames and Approximants in problems of Mathematical Physics
• Spectral theory of differential operators
• Classical and quantum integrable models
• String and quantum field theory
• Special functions
• Scattering Theory
• Inverse problems

Special Journal Issue

A special issue of the Azerbaijan Journal of Mathematics (AJM) will collect selected papers from the conference. The speakers will be suggested to present their talks to be published in AJM. It is not considered as a duty of the speaker but would be highly appreciated. Manuscripts should be submitted online at http://azjm.org/index.php/azjm/about. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts will be refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Research articles, as well as review articles, are invited. Azerbaijan Journal of Mathematics is an international peer-reviewed journal of the Azerbaijan Mathematical Society, which is covered in the Emerging Sources Citation Index.

Official conference languages are English and Russian
