Miguel Dakota is a singer and songwriter based out of Nashville, TN. Miguel was a finalist on Season 9 of America's Got Talent.

Miguel's first encounters with music came at an early age. His parents brought him to his first New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival at just 10 days old. These were the beginnings of his love of music. At age 11, Miguel received his first guitar and began learning to play and sing. By 13, he began to write songs of his own. In the fall of 2013, Miguel was invited to audition for America's Got Talent. He then made it to the finale of the show in the fall of 2014. Shortly after, Miguel independently released his debut album "Love and Freedom". Miguel has continued writing and performing his solo music as well as performing and releasing music with bands and other collaborators.

He currently performs daily around the Nashville/Middle Tennessee region while making trips to perform at venues across the US.
