抜け毛景観学とは / What is "Fallen Hair Landscape Studies"?

"Fallen Hair Landscape Studies" is an activity unit that observes and analyzes fallen hair hiding in everyday life from the perspective of "landscape."
When hair is on the scalp, it belongs to human society. Eventually, the hair shed from the scalp departs from this human-centric society.
It connects with other entities such as floors, air, microorganisms, and dust, establishing a society of other species. "Fallen Hair Landscape Studies" contemplates the fact that this hair, which was once part of us, is now connected to other entities somewhere on Earth.By deciphering the rules of this fallen hair society, we reveal the ecology of fallen hair. This is an activity of constructing images that open up new possibilities for fallen hair. In other words, it is an exploration of the conditions under which fallen hair emerges as potentiality.

「抜け毛景観学」は、日常に潜む抜け毛を「景観」という視点から観察・分析する活動ユニットである。

毛は頭皮にあるとき、人間社会に属する。やがて、頭皮から抜け落ちた毛は人間を中心とする社会から離れ、床、空気、微生物、埃といった他の存在と結びつき、他種的な社会を築く。「抜け毛景観学」はそうした私たちの一部であった抜け毛が地球のどこかで他の存在と繋がっていることに想いを馳せ、その抜け毛社会のルールを読み解くことで抜け毛の生態を露わにする。それは抜け毛の新たな可能性を開く、イメージの構築、つまり可能態としての抜け毛が立ち上げる条件を探る活動である。
