Whenever I find the opportunity, I jam with others on more or less jazzy paths... For several years, I had tremendous fun playing in the Brazilian band Desafinado in Urbana-Champaign, Illinois.

I also like translating books. Here are two of my translations that found their way to the printing press:

The Talking Ape: How language evolved by Robbins Burling (Oxford University Press, 2005). Translated in Greek as O pithikos pou milaei [Ο πίθηκος που μιλάει]. Athens: Nefeli Publishing. 2009. See a book review here (in Greek).

Language Change: Progress or Decay? by Jean Aitchison (Cambridge University Press, 2001). Translated in Greek as Giati allazei i glossa: Proodos i parakmi? [Γιατί αλλάζει η γλώσσα; Πρόοδος ή παρακμή;]. Athens: Patakis Publishing. 2006.
