About Newberry Disc Golf

I have been playing disc golf my whole life, competitively, since 2012. I started a YouTube channel to post some disc golf content, and for the last year, I have been running disc golf events under the same name.

My Dad is my biggest disc golf influence. Since I was born, I have been around the sport, camping at Duncan Lake every year for the Duncan Hill climber, getting my first discs at age 5, and him taking me to Emporia, Kansas, for the 2013 Junior Worlds. It is so great that we still play and travel almost every weekend. I will always think of him as the greatest putter I've seen, and I enjoy watching him take on the open and the master's divisions at a competitive level.

I am grateful for all the avenues the sport of disc golf allows me to engage in. First, as a competitor, where I strive to improve my skills and hope it leads to success; as a tournament director of minis and tournaments, where I can direct and try to provide quality time for everyone; and as a creator, where I can goof around and experience disc golf a different way.
