Air Conditioning Technologies Training Program

Durations: 6 Months

Six months is all you need to train for an air conditioning career.

The 6-month air conditioning training program is designed to train and prepare students for entry as service and maintenance technicians in jobs that utilize technologies employed in the fields of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR). Courses focus on the fundamentals of comfort systems and refrigeration.

Apprenticeship/OJT Training Program

Overview of the Program

Our company offers you an occupation which provides a competitive income and the ability to master a skill in which you can take pride. With skilled workers in great demand, the HVAC industry offers you a career with year-round work and the opportunity for promotion.

Through the hands-on training, an apprentice become skilled in air conditioning industry. Guided by an experienced journey person and technician, the apprentice will receive the necessary hands-on training to learn specific skills.

Training takes place on site at residential, light commercial, commercial or industrial work. He or she will performs their actual work. Or it may happen elsewhere within the workplace.

Our apprenticeship program was developed after carefully assessing the needs of the HVAC industry. Upon successful completion of this program, each apprentice will receive:

Qualifications to Become an Apprentice

Each applicant for the apprenticeship program will meet the required minimum qualifications provided below and as may be further enumerated within these Standards and/or as may be set forth in appendices hereto:

  1. Be at least 18 years of age. The applicant will provide proof of age.
  2. Completed at least SPM or equivalent. The applicant will provide a copy of transcript of last grade completed.
  3. Provide a copy of a valid car driving license.
  4. Be physically fit to perform the work of the occupation. A physical examination and/or a doctor’s certificate which states the applicant has the physical ability to perform the work, may be required.
  5. Have adequate means of transportation to his/her employer and/or job site.
  6. Provide occupation-related tools as required by the employer and be of legal age to handle the tools.

Successful Completion of the Program

In order to be eligible to be awarded a Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship, an apprentice must successfully complete both the required related instruction and on-the-job training while in the employ of and under the supervision of a registered apprenticeship program Sponsor.
