COMMUNION
First Sunday of the month.
CHOIR REHEARSAL
First rehearsal for the new season is Wed., now at 7 PM.
RESOURCE CENTER (Food pantry and clothing )
Open M, T, F from 9 AM til noon and Thurs..evenings from 7 PM til 8:30.
MONTHLY FUNDRAISER
Redeem your own bottles and cans; then, on the third Sunday of each month donate that money to the NRC ! Some of these funds have been donated to RISE AGAINST HUNGER and S &H for the shoeboxes of Operation Shoebox.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
For children age 3 and up. Sunday School meets at 11 am. Each week there is a lesson, craft, and songs. At the beginning of the worship service, pastor has time with the children. Sunday School is currently collecting items for Operation Shoebox; this year the collection will emphasize different item(s) each month...Jan. thru Nov.

ANNUAL ROAST PORK DINNER
Annual Roast Pork Dinner
Usually around the first or second week in November take outs only
Tickets: $12 Adults, $11 Seniors, Kids under 10 are $6 (Reservations not necessary but will guarantee a dinner)

SOUPER SUPPER
Our soup supper is usually the Saturday toward the end of April.
This years event is May 4 from 4-6 pm. $10 to try one or all of the delicious soups and chili's... children under 8 eat free!!
BUILDING PROJECT
On a massive scale, including a new roof, and changes that would have our building look less industrialized and more "like a church".
CONGREGATIONAL CARE
Pastor visits and brings communion to those who cannot come.
We have a prayer chain. This group of "warriors" prays for those who have physical, or spiritual needs.
WORSHIP
The Interfaith Thanksgiving Service will be at area Churchs, Sunday, date TBD, followed by fellowship time.
Lighting of the Advent Wreath at NRC will begin Sunday, first week of December, during our 11AM worship service.
Nassau Community Connections
The Nassau Community Connections is a Scouting community service initiative developed to help local people in need. The Committee is made up of local citizens, law enforcement, politicians, faith leaders and other community organizations.
The NCC hold a Homelessness Forum, date TBD at the Chandler Young Veteran’s Association, 7 Lyons Lake Road, Nassau, NY
The Nassau Community Connections are very excited to welcome Kevin O’Connor, MSW, Executive Director of Joseph’s House and Shelter. Mr. O’Connor will be speaking about the history of homelessness, the impacts of homelessness in Rensselaer County, as well as what services are available to assist persons in need.
Additionally, Nassau Community Connections members will be speaking about local initiatives and needs.
