Welcome! I am so excited to be at Rock Canyon High School with this amazing Language Arts department. This is my 12th year of teaching, all of which have been in Colorado. I am a Colorado Native - one of the few remaining. After graduating from Thornton High School, I went on to attend Metro State University on a swimming scholarship while earning my undergraduate degree in English. After getting that first year of teaching under my belt, I went on to pursue my graduate degree in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Phoenix. In my free time, I love to swim, read, hang out with my 7-year-old daughter, Kendall, and take my Great Dane puppy, Cyrus, out and about. I look forward to this school year and getting to know each and every one of my students. We are going to have a blast - GO JAGS!
