• In April 2018, I was awarded an NSERC Discovery Grant.

• In March 2017, I received a (Mount Allison University) President’s Research and Creative Activities Award, valued at $14,000.
• In March 2017, I attended a local (Sackville) Brownies meeting to talk about being a mathematician.

• I gave a salon talk on Cops and Robber at Thornton House, Mount Allison University, November 2016.
• I attended an “Atlantic Graph Searchers” meeting at Mount Saint Vincent University, Nov 11-13, 2016.
• I was on the CBC Radio program “Shift”, talking about mathematics and zombies! October 2016.
• I received a 5-year pin in recognition of my continued service to Science Atlantic, October 2016.
• My first M.Sc. student successfully (co-supervised at Dalhousie University) defended his thesis, August 2016.

• I organized a Graphs-and-Games (AARMS Collaborative Research Group) mini-workshop held at Mount Allison University, July 29, 2015.
• I organized the East Coast Combinatorics Conference (ECCC) held at Mount Allison University, July 27-28 2015.
• Two of my students received NSERC USRA’s to fund their (2015) summer research projects.
• I recently co-organized the “Graphs, Designs, and Hypergraphs” scientific session at the CMS summer meeting in Charlottetown, June 5-8th, 2015. We were awarded funding for the session from AARMS.
• I attended GRASCan, the 3rd Graph Searching in Canada Workshop at the University of Montreal May 28-29, 2015.
• I attended and gave a talk at the 22nd Coast Combinatorics Conference in Kailua-Kona, Big Island, HI in February 2015.
2014
• I co-organized a workshop focussing on (undergraduate) student engagement at St.F.X. (July 30-31, 2014). The workshop was financially supported by the Graphs-and-Games (AARMS) Collaborative Research Group.
