Welcome to my webpage. I have been a professor at BSU since 2001. My training has been in the fields of structural geology and 40Ar/39Ar thermochronology, although since arriving at BSU my interests have shifted towards geochemistry of igneous and metamorphic rocks.

My field area has primarily been in southwest Montana just outside of Dillon in the Ruby and Blacktail Mountains. However, my students and I have been conducting a wide range of projects from structural analysis to thermochronology to geochemical studies from a variety of field locations around the United States and throughout the world.
