Rotary International is an international service organization whose stated purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and to advance goodwill and peace around the world. Rotary's largest and proudest international humanitarian effort to date has been our commitment to eradicate polio. We initiated the audacious "End Polio Now" campaign in 1979 by vaccinating children in the Philippines. With the help of our partners, we have since reduced polio cases worldwide by 99.9%!

The Rotary Club of Medicine Hat has been active since 1918 with it's first project being the Cenotaph at Veteran's Park. Our club joins community leaders together to take action on important issues affecting our community, our nation, and the world. We also have a lot of fun - whether we're socializing or working together on service projects. We live by the motto "Rotary in Action" where together we make great things happen!
