Guests Are Always Welcome!! ^_^

As a guest, you are always welcome to visit our meetings for FREE!! Please consult the map on the 'About Us' page for more details about our meeting location and procedure. The best way to improve yourself is to just come and experience our meetings a couple of times, or even better, join as a member! During your visit, usually we invite you to introduce yourself and speak a little during a meeting, or share your feedback at the end. Should you need further assistance, please feel free to call any officer for more details.

Members Improve with Determination

Membership Due

Compared to other programs of language improvement and skill building, investment in Toastmasters learning is the most effective, and the fee is way lower. The membership due is to be paid to Toastmasters International Headquarters to maintain a member's active status. The official time to collect the membership due from Toastmasters International falls in September and March. However, we collect once a year as soon as you decide to join the club. We will remind each member to renew their membership when the membership payment is due within 2 months. Please talk to the incumbent treasurer, Vera Ho to pay for your membership due in time.

The Annual Membership Due + fees for each member of Linkou Toastmasters Club is NT$4,200/year;
New Member Registration is NT$800 (one-time payment)
When you join the Linkou Toastmasters Club for the very first time, the total fee is NT$5,000 for the first year.

After you join the Linkou Toastmasters Club for the first time as an official member, you will start your educational programs. An official new member will receive the New Member Kit. It encourages you to start accessing the Pathways system through the Base Camp. You will start by completing an assessment or survey to explore your true interest in learning with Toastmasters, and then the online system will suggest a few paths that closely fit your interests. Choose one path and start your pathway learning!

Every path contains five levels with various projects related to the skills the path focuses on. On every path, you will start with the Icebreaker and then move on to other interesting projects. The projects in the first two levels are almost the same because they are to build a solid foundation in communication and presentation skills in addition to self-leadership exploration. In levels 3–5, there are several required projects and elective projects. You don't have to do all elective projects. Just choose what you are most interested in developing. No matter what level you are working on, in every project, you will have to study the online learning materials, complete the pre-assessment of your ability, conduct the project in the meetings, receive the evaluation from your evaluator, and last but not least review your ability improvement in the post-assessment of the skills after you complete the project assignment.

The Pathways system provides abundant learning materials and clear guidance for you to follow when you are going to perform certain tasks. There are also evaluation forms for your evaluator to mark their evaluation of your performance and provide feedback for you. Also, you can utilize it to keep a good record of your progress for your future Educational Award Application when you complete any level or path. Therefore, when you attend any meeting, study the learning materials in advance. If you are a prepared speech speaker, be sure to bring the evaluation form and present it to your evaluator before the meeting starts; so the evaluator can leave written feedback for you. That will ensure you collect the written notes and suggestions from the evaluator in addition to the verbal ones. This is an ongoing process during your whole Toastmasters journey for your continuous improvement. Let's grow together in Pathways with Linkou Toastmasters Club!! ^ ^
