Krista Ruffini

I am an Assistant Professor at Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy, a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), and an Affiliate at CES-Ifo

My research examines how  government policies affect labor market, education, and health outcomes, with a focus on programs targeted to disadvantaged populations. One area of work examines the effect of income and nutritional assistance programs on children's wellbeing. Another strand of work examines how workplace policies affect employees, employers, and patients in the healthcare sector.

I received my PhD from UC-Berkeley and hold an MA in Economics from UC-Berkeley; an MPA from the London School of Economics; and a BA in Economics, International Relations, and Political Science from Boston University.

Office hours: By appointment.
