My Thoughts: Normally New Adult Fiction isn't my cup of tea but my friend got me into reading the From Blood and Ash series so I've kept it up. I would put this simply as an enjoyable read, the book, while fun, isn't revolutionary or particularly interesting. It's good for a New Adult Fantasy novel, fans of ACOTAR would love this series. I think that the first two books in the series were better than this one, and I'm interested to see where the story goes from here.

My Thoughts: THIS BOOK IS A MASTERPIECE!! I had to read it for English and UGH it was so good. The complex relationships between some of the characters are amazing, there isn't a single flat character in the whole book it's amazing. There is literally so much to analyze in this book. This book is so powerful and can give you a new perspective on life.

The author of this book is Nigerian and I think that it's very important that everyone reads at least a few pieces of African literature in their life time. (Also check out the author's TED talks they're amazing.)
