About

I am a SNI I associate professor at the Mathematics Department of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana - Iztapalapa in México city.

My main area of interest is the study of the evolution of open quantum systems via Quantum Markov Semigroups (QMS) in  quantum probability. In particular the class of circulant, G-circulant (for a finite group G) and weak coupling limit type (WCLT) GKSL generators.

I also enjoy researching Circulant and Toeplitz completely positive operators and its applications to open systems and quantum information.

Broadly speaking my lines of work are functional analysis, probability and linear algebra.

Other than mathematics my other passions in life are videogames, cats, salsa dancing and bouldering.  I am always looking for opportunities to create mathematics related YouTube content.

If you are interested in collaborations, please reach out and send me an email.
