By facilitating meaningful conversations about responsibility, legacy, and governance, he helps families navigate the emotional and strategic complexities that often accompany significant wealth.
His approach is thoughtful and structured, focusing on reducing potential conflict while encouraging transparency and preparation. Through careful planning, Jonathan empowers families to define shared goals and create systems that support smooth leadership and ownership transitions.
Jonathan’s commitment to leadership began during his time at SUNY New Paltz, where he served as Student Body President. In this role, he demonstrated strong accountability and service while earning his Bachelor of Science degree with honors. This early experience shaped his belief in responsibility-driven leadership.
He continued his academic journey at the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester, where he earned his MBA. The program strengthened his analytical skills and deepened his understanding of financial strategy, preparing him for high-level roles within the global banking sector.
Jonathan launched his professional career at Citigroup, managing trading relationships with more than 60 institutional clients, whose combined assets exceeded $1 trillion. This experience provided rigorous exposure to global markets and institutional investment strategy. It also reinforced his commitment to disciplined execution and attentive client service.
In 2014, he became a Partner and Managing Director at Sandhill, where he expanded his focus on serving entrepreneurial families. There, he helped clients integrate business strategy, personal wealth planning, and long-term legacy objectives into cohesive plans.
