Christmas Season

The Real Reason for The Season

Christmas is claimed to be a Christian celebration, although this is not the case. Forget the festival's myths, history, and religious importance; the truth is that Christmas is the world's most joyous occasion. I found it strange that the wizards celebrated Christmas when reading the Harry Potter books, which are full of Christmas moods, and I wondered why they would celebrate a Christian holiday with such fervor as Christians, but if you think about it, Christmas is the world's holiday, and many religions and groups have adopted it as their own.

My Christmas memories are all amazing. I remember always being sick, but it was a sickness I enjoyed because it was caused by too much eating, and since food was not always plentiful in my home, too much eating was considered a blessing, and if you were vomiting and releasing noxious amounts of methane from your mouth, that was fine; in fact, it was considered a poor Christmas if you did not become sick from too much eating;

"But I am sure that I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round... as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable, pleasant time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely," Charles Dickens said in A Christmas Carol. And fact, no matter how bad the surroundings are at this time of year, practically everyone is wrapped in a joyful spirit, perhaps due to the dancing lights all around, and they can forgive any injustice done to them. It would be unjust for anyone to be born on Christmas because their birthday would be insignificant in comparison to the most important holiday of the year. Nonetheless, many would-be parents try to time their child's conception to coincide with Christmas, and they are often fortunate because many children are born during that time. Marjorie Hughes once said that "at Christmas, all roads lead home," which is a lovely way of putting it because "at Christmas, all roads lead home," because "at Christmas, all roads lead home," because "at Christmas, all roads lead home," because "at Christmas, all roads lead home," because "at Christmas, all roads lead home," because "at Christmas, all roads lead home," because "at Christmas, melancholy spirits are gone, and everyone is jovial and friendly."

"The only blind person at Christmastime is he who does not have Christmas in his heart," Helen Keller, the world's most famous blind and deaf person, said. "We can go on and say the only person poor at Christmas is the person who does not have Christmas wealth at heart, same for joy and happy memories, for it is at Christmas time that the most beautiful and innocent memories are conjured up."

"The joy of bringing joy to others, bearing one another's sorrows, lightening one another's loads, and filling empty hearts and lives with generous presents becomes the magic of Christmas for us." W.C. Jones said that, and he encapsulated one of the fundamental essences of Christmas in his words. Make an effort to do something you wouldn't normally do. If you've been cruelling this year, be kind, and who knows, maybe love, kindness, and compassion are contagious, and you'll find yourself being kind and loving for the rest of your life, which can only be beneficial.

Christmas is the time of year when we abandon the harsh realism of the real world and embrace and adopt a surreal cosmos that represents the principles we believe in and cherish but find difficult to implement in an ugly and unforgiving world set on stifling the human spirit.
