Bayh College of Education Dean's Office

The overarching theme of Indiana State University’s educator preparation programs is Becoming a Complete Professional. Originally conceived in 1991, the conceptual framework has been reaffirmed and updated through the years. Our theme encompasses three broad areas that recognize essential areas of the work of an educator:

Educator as Expert or Mediator of Learning,

Educator as Person, and

Educator as Member of Communities.

ISU's Student Government Association

The Student Government Association is organized as a representative democracy. Under this system, your views as a student can be expressed through your SGA representatives. SGA is divided into three branches: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. Each have their respective duties, as well as the responsibility of working among each other to serve students that comprise the Indiana State community

Dr. Melissa Nail

Dr. Melissa Nail is a professor in the Department of Teaching and Learning. She is the current advisor for ISU's chapter of ISEA and has helped keep this organization running in tip-top shape. She has assisted in creating and planning every EduTech that ISEA has put on, from the first one and on to this year. We are super thankful for her support and collaboration with the executive board of ISEA to make this organization one hundred times better! Thank you!
