Collaborative Virtual Art Murals and Mosaics

During the spring of 2020 and the 2020-2021 school year, the Howard school community was invited to participate in several collaborative Art projects. The first was a work inspired by Claude Monet's Water Lilies, followed by Salvador Dali's "Burning Giraffe", Van Gogh's Virtual Sunflower, a Flower Garden Oil Pastel Door Mural, Sunflower panels, and a Legacy Wing Mural.

Students, faculty, staff, and parents have contributed to these pieces. We are excited to share this amazing artwork with you and have loved seeing all the ways these works could be interpreted.

Art truly can be a bright spot in our lives during a very difficult time.

Salvador Dali Virtual Mosaic

During the 1st quarter of 2020-2021, Howard students and staff were invited to create a square artwork inspired by Salvador Dali's "Burning Giraffe." Students learned about Dali and Surrealism and then created an homage to his work. Individual submissions can be viewed in the video below. The final work below was created with all the submissions. We are so proud of Howard art students and love seeing their creativity shine!
