Ms. Z

Hello and Welcome!!! I'm so excited that I get to be your child's fist grade teacher this year. My name is Ms. Zimmerman but my fabulous students call me Ms. Z. I know that together we can make this a wonderful year filled with laughter and learning.

I want to take a moment to tell you about myself. I have lived in several states but I am now happy to call Greenville home. I am the proud mama to a spunky, sweet, smart boy named Dale. He keeps me on my toes and young at heart. I received my undergraduate in Early Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati. I also have a Masters in Science Education and Special Education which I received from Concordia University. I have taught 4K, Resource, and currently a First Grade Teacher.

I believe in creating a classroom environment in which students learn to support and encourage each other. I believe in creating and maintaining an a classroom in which everyone feels like it is their classroom. In our classroom we believe in the power of "yet". We do not say we cannot do something we say we cannot do it yet because with hard work we know that we will be able to accomplish our goals.
