On a personal note Harcourt Park has been my home away from home since I was born. My family has been coming to the area since the 1950s (before Harcourt Park was created) when my great grandparents began logging back at Charlie George Lake. My great uncle built the cottage that my parents now occupy 2 doors down from our cottage and they, along with my Aunt and Uncle, built the cottage next door. I have grown up swimming in the bay, water-skiing and boating around the lake, attending events at the community centre, hiking in the woods, and spending countless hours playing with the the other children in the bay. I am thrilled to now be sharing this wonderful place with my own children and I hope that you will love the cottaging experience in Harcourt Park as much as I and my family do.
