 Travel tips

Subway ("the T"):  take the Green Line E in direction "Medford/Tufts" and stop at "Medford/Tufts". The station is right outside the conference venue. NOTE: The Green Line has many different sub-lines/branches. When taking the T to come to Tufts, make sure to be on an E train (the D trains do not come to Tufts).

Update: Service will be suspended between North Station and Government Center from Sat, July 29, through Wed, Aug 9. More info here.

Bus: Lines 80, 94, and 96 stop at College Ave/Boston Ave, just a few steps from the conference venue.

Bikes: Boston-area bikeshare program, more info here.

Train: Amtrak serves North Station (which is on the Green Line that comes to Tufts) and also South Station (which is on the Red Line, and you can transfer to the Green Line at Park Street -- or you may stop at the Back Bay Amtrak Station, transfer to the Orange Line, and then transfer to the Green Line at Haymarket Station.)

Plane: From Boston Logan Airport, you can take the "Airport Shuttle" to reach the Airport Station on the Blue Line, then transfer to the Orange Line at State, then transfer to the Green Line at North Station (these acrobatics are needed to avoid the Green Line shutdown mentioned above, see itinerary here). Note that taking the Blue Line is free of charge at this time.

Parking: information about visitor parking on campus available here. Please expect construction and traffic detours on campus, see here for more information.
