Congratulations on becoming an official GOGOKID teacher! Your next steps will be to sign your contract, upload your documents, and set up your profile. Once your profile is active you can open up your schedule and begin teaching classes. One of your first slots will be booked by a trainer who will introduce you to the platform and have you practice teaching a class. Check out the resources below so you know what to expect in your first few weeks as a GOGOKID teacher.
Make sure you have watched this youtube video on how to use the gogokid platform. Currently we have TWO classrooms, this video will cover the new classroom. Eventually everything will be moved to this new classroom. If you have a class in a room that looks different than this one, you are in the old classroom. The old classroom is very simple so don't worry!
One way to standout to parents is to be a TESOL or TEFL certified teacher. This is a quick and easy way to get that certification. Be sure to update your profile and let parents know you have a TESOL Certificate!
One mistake that I frequently see teachers make is double booking themselves with multiple companies. Here is how I schedule my classes when working for more than one company.
