Hello! My name is Renee Gering and this will be my third year teaching. The last two years I have spent teaching fifth grade in Spartanburg County. I could not be happier to be in second grade! I completed my student teaching in this grade and my heart has been here ever since. I am originally from the the Southern Pennsylvania/ Northern Maryland area, but am so glad my journey has brought me here to Greenville!

I graduated from the University of Charleston in West Virginia in 2021. I received a dual bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. Here in South Carolina, I am certified in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education and Special Education. While at UC, I also played lacrosse!
