The closest parking is Shenandoah Parking Deck, which is across the street from Research Hall. Use the visitor parking on the lower level.

🚏 Visit us by bus 🚌
The main bus terminal on campus is Cue bus system, which is nearby Merten Hall. The walk from the bus stop to Research Hall is about 0.6 mile (1 km or 15 minutes).
The nearest Metro bus stops are 17G and 306 lines. You may take the stair and walk pass Lot C parking and Aquatic and Fitness Center. The total walk is about 0.4 mile (550 m or 10 minutes).
Another near Metro bus stop is 29K line (17G and 306 lines also pass this stop), which is close to Peterson Hall. The total walk is about 0.7 mile (1.1 km or 15 minutes).
For Mason students, there is also Sandy Creek Shuttle Stop for Mason Shuttle Buses, which is about 0.1 mile (150 m or 2 minutes) from the observatory.

If you would like to drop off students or other passengers, you may use the loading area in front the Research Hall.
Buses and minivans can be parked in Lot K.

When you arrive at Research Hall on 1st floor, look for the elevators and take an exit of the building. The COS Showcase is in the extension tower labeled "001".
Exploratory 3301
To find the Exploratory Hall (EXPL), room 3301 (3rd floor) if you approach from Shenandoah Parking Deck, walk off the deck using an exit near Sandy Creek Shuttle Stop and look for the entrance to the Exploratory Hall.
Enter the building and use the nearest elevator.
Go to 3rd floor. The room is next to the elevator.
