Regular Irish Music Sessions

Since 1991 Shayne and Roz have been hosting a monthly traditional Irish music session in Newcastle. The session is currently held on the 3rd Sunday of the month from 3 to 6pm at the Town Hall Hotel, corner of Turton Road and Station Street, Waratah.

A traditional Irish music session is an informal gathering of musicians and singers. It provides an opportunity for players to play tunes together that they know in common and also to share and try out new tunes. Anyone interested in playing or listening to tradition music is welcome. Sessions are free.
