Printing Instructions

Want to print this at home?

Neat!

  1. The PDF linked on the main page (link) should be ready for printing.

  2. The pages are intentionally shifted towards the right; I recommend using a three-ring binder to keep all the recipes in one place. You could also go to your local printing shop to get the pages spiral-bound! If you would like to print the pages double-sided, I recommend that you use these cookbook pages instead - the margins in that version are designed for double sided printing.

  3. (Optional) Let me know that you printed it! For statistics purposes :)

Want A NICE, HARD COVER copy OF THE COOKBOOK?

Awesome! The cookbook was designed to be printed using Blurb.com, a print-on-demand site that prints and ships books to almost everywhere in the world. Here are instructions for printing on Blurb. Warning: these instructions are untested. Print at your own risk!

I've noticed that Blurb almost always has one promotion or another going on. You might want to wait until a relevant promotion to order the cookbook.

  1. Register for an account on blurb.com and log in.

  2. Download the cover for the cookbook. Download the pages of the cookbook (warning: 120MB). IMPORTANT: Make sure you use the pages of the cookbook linked in this step! They were specially designed for Blurb printing; the normal pages will NOT work.

  3. Go to http://www.blurb.com/pdf_uploader_frontend/index.html#/chooseFiles

  4. Select "Cover & Pages in Separate Files."

  5. Upload the cover and page PDFs to their respective slots.

  6. Under "Your Book Size", switch the selection to "Trade Books - 8×10 in 20×25 cm" - it's much cheaper than a photo book and serves the intended purpose fantastically.

  7. Select your desired book type and paper type. I personally recommend hardcover and a color page as opposed to b&w - it's what the cookbook was designed for. Trade books require an ISBN; just select "Blurb's Free ISBN."

  8. Under "Book Title," you can enter "That's It! The Unofficial FFXV Community Cookbook." It doesn't especially matter what you put here. Likewise. under "Author Name," you can enter "Ignis Scientia" or "FFXV" or whatever you want.

  9. Click "Upload to Blurb." Some warnings will pop up; press "Attempt to Correct & Continue."

  10. There will be some preflight issues, such as "contains annotations" and "an image is of low resolution." Both are true - sorry! This is why I do not recommend paying for an expensive photo book. In any case, just click on "Preview Book." Enjoy the preview.

  11. Click "Order Book," then "Order."

  12. Add the book to your cart, and follow the instructions for checkout.

  13. If you want to make me really happy, when your book arrives, let me know/take pics, and enjoy!
