About Me (CV)
My research focuses on the application of operations research to supply chain network modeling and facility location problems. I have applied these methodologies to humanitarian and disaster relief logistics, urban logistics and, most recently, fighting human trafficking by modeling it as a supply chain network. I have taught courses on: statistics, operations research, supply chain engineering, network modeling, and humanitarian logistics.
I am the co-chair of the AMR20(1) Subcommittee on Humanitarian Relief of the Transportation Research Board. I also actively participate of the College of Humanitarian Operations and Crisis Management (HOCM) at POMS Conference and the Section on Location Analysis (SOLA) at INFORMS.
