Mission Statement

The mission of the Fairland Elementary School Media Center/Library is to inspire all children to be lifelong readers. We will encourage students to become lifelong learners of information literacy-the ability to find, locate, and access information.

Circulation Policy

Pre K & PEP - Can check out 1 book

K & 1st graders - Can check out up to 2 books

2nd -5th graders - Can check out up to 2 books

Pre-K, Kindergarten, PEP, 1st and 2nd graders

will have a scheduled weekly lesson along with a book exchange.



Overdue & Lost Material

Books are due when students are finished with them. We have an open library policy that allows students to come in anytime during the day with directions from the classroom teachers.

No fines will be incurred for overdue books, Students are responsible for lost or books damaged beyond repair. A letter will be sent to parents. Please check with the media center staff for questions or concerns.
