May 13th & 14th, 2026
Bangalore Regional Centre (BRC) - IIChE, in Association with Catalysis Society of India, Bangalore Chapter & Department of Chemical Engineering, M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology
The International Conference on Emerging Trends in Catalysis for Sustainable Chemical Processes (ETCSCP-2026) is aimed at bringing together researchers, academicians, and industry personnel on a common platform to share their insights and research findings on novel areas of emphasis in catalyst technology and its applications. The following areas are identified for the conference:
• Energy & Environment
• Green Synthesis and Catalysis
• Sustainability and the Circular Economy
• Process Intensification
• Catalysts for Future Technologies
• Biofuels
• Photochemistry and Photocatalysis
Bangalore Regional Centre (BRC), established in 1961 and nurtured by the Chemical Engineering Department of the Indian Institute of Science, is one of the oldest regional centre of the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers. The experts from leading research and technical education institutes, as well as several industries, contribute to the wide variety of activities of the centres. The chemical engineering professionals have tremendously benefitted from various courses in cutting-edge areas of the time, such as computer-aided design in 70’s and biotechnology in 90’s. It organized the Annual Session of IIChE and Chemical Engineering Congress CHEMCON in 2011. Currently, BRC has more than 200 members and is being operated at MSRIT, Bangalore.
Catalysis Society of India-Bangalore Chapater (CSI-BC)
The CSI-Bengaluru Chapter was established in 2016 by eminent catalysis scientists from various research organizations in Bengaluru, like Poornaprajna Institute of Scientific Research, SABIC, SHELL, HPCL, JNCASR, IISc, St Joseph’s College, and Jain University. The society is actively working on promoting research in the area of catalysis and bringing together researchers from academia and industry on one platform in Bengaluru by conducting conferences, meetings, workshops, invited talks, etc.
M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT)
M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT) was instituted in 1962 by the industrialist and visionary late Dr. M. S. Ramaiah under the aegis of Gokula Education Foundation. The Department of Chemical Engineering, established in 1978, was the fifth department to be started in MSRIT. It has the unique distinction of being the first to offer a 4-year B.E. course in chemical engineering by a self-financing institute in Bangalore. The department has received grants from DST, AICTE, VTU and DRDO. The department is accredited by NBA and NAAC. It is ranked 75th by NIRF, MHRD.
Who Can Participate
UG/PG students, researchers, faculty, scientists, and industrialists who are interested in the topics can apply for this conference.
