Equality Counts is now offline while I move my work into a new home, Sometimes Wise - Skills, Systems, Stories.
After almost ten years, it feels like the right time for a shift. The world has changed, my work has changed and, truthfully, I have changed too. What began as a focused step into inclusion work has grown into something broader, more reflective and more rooted in real life.
Sometimes Wise brings that work together in one place.
It holds my inclusion practice alongside writing, community projects and reflections on work, life and fairness. It reflects how I actually work now: through systems that make inclusion doable, stories that surface what often goes unsaid, and skills that help people turn awareness into everyday practice.
This isn’t a move away from practical work. The heart of what I do stays the same: fair practice, thoughtful systems and real conversation. What has changed is the shape. Sometimes Wise gives me space to work more sustainably, while staying grounded in the needs of organisations, teams and communities.
For clients, that means clearer thinking, steadier pace and work that connects strategy with lived experience. It means support that is reflective without being vague, and practical without being reductive.
Sometimes Wise is where inclusion, learning and lived reality meet. A place for careful work, done well, with room to grow.
Why is Equality Counts offline?
I have taken it offline while I transition everything to Sometimes Wise. This is a natural step after nearly a decade of growth, learning and change.
Are you still offering inclusion, menopause and neurodivergence support?
Yes. The work continues in the same spirit and with the same values. It now sits within a broader home that reflects how my work looks today.
Is Sometimes Wise replacing Equality Counts?
It is more of an evolution than a replacement. Equality Counts gave me a strong foundation. Sometimes Wise reflects the wider and more reflective direction my work has taken.
Where can I follow your work right now?
LinkedIn is the best place for updates while the new site is being built.
How can I stay in touch for news about Sometimes Wise?
You can sign up for news and updates using this form on the Stay in Touch page.
How can I contact you?
General enquiries: hello@sometimeswise.co.uk
Will the Equality Counts website return?
No. It will eventually redirect to Sometimes Wise in early 2026
What will happen to the Menopause Inclusion Collective?
The Menopause Inclusion Collective will continue as a community project in its own right. It will sit alongside Sometimes Wise rather than being replaced by it. The work and relationships built through the Collective remain important, and any future activity, partnerships or resources will be shared through my Sometimes Wise updates and LinkedIn.
Equality Counts has been part of my life for almost a decade. In that time the world has changed, my work has changed and, honestly, so have I. What began as a personal step into inclusion work became something shaped by all the amazing, inspiring people I met along the way, clients, communities, colleagues and the many individuals who trusted me with their stories and questions.
I’m grateful for every conversation, challenge and moment of shared learning. Those experiences helped me grow, and they’ve brought me to the point where moving into Sometimes Wise feels right.
Thank you for being part of the journey so far .A new Sometimes Wise website is on its way. I look forward to welcoming you there soon,
Sarah x
