All assignments and announcements are posted daily in Google Classroom. As a responsible student you must keep up with all announcements, assignments, and due dates.

Each week we have a Discussion Question of the week taken from the previous weeks class lecture. Students are required to answer and respond to a minimum of two classmates to earn full credit. Most weeks we have a vocabulary test on words from industry which requires answers to be placed in a Google Document.

Additionally, I designed a Digital Notebook for our class. We have 5 slides each day:

Slide 1) A Bell Ringer (a word question requiring mathematics)

Slide 2) A C-Notes Slide (Cornell Note Taking Method): The Cornell Note-Taking System was originally developed by Cornell education professor, Walter Pauk. Prof. Pauk outlined this effective note-taking method in his book, How to Study in College

Slide 3) Graphic Organizer Slide: A graphic organizer is a teaching and learning tool used to organize information and ideas in a way that is easy to comprehend, internalize, and retain.

Slide 4) Vocabulary Slide with a hyperlink to Quizlet flash Cards for the Vocabulary words for the week.

Slide 5) Exit Ticket: Provides me feedback about our class requiring students to do some synthesis of the day's content; challenge each student with a question requiring some application of what was learned in the lesson. There is a place student can ask their question about curriculum privately if they don't feel comfortable asking questions out loud.
