2023 Duneland Open/Jr Open

When: Friday August 4th- Sunday August 6th

*Players should be available Friday (Adults after 5 pm), Saturday and Sunday*

Where: Chesterton High School (All matches)

Who: 

Duneland Jr Open- 6 Singles Divisions- Boys Middle School (14 & Under), Girls Middle School (14 & Under), Boys High School Junior Varsity,  Girls High School Junior Varsity, Boys High School Varsity, and Girls High School Varsity (players may only enter one division)

5 Doubles Divisions- Middle School (14 & Under) Boys, Girls or Mixed, Boys High School Junior Varsity, Girls High School Junior Varsity, Boys High School Varsity, and Girls High School Varsity (players may only enter one division)  

Duneland Open- 4 Singles Divisions- Men's Open, Women's Open, Men's 55+, Women's 55+

5 Doubles Divisions- Men's Open, Women's Open, Mixed Open (One male and one female), Men's 55+ (Both players must be 55 years of age or older), Women's 55+ (Both players must be 55 years of age or older)

Matches: Each player will play AT LEAST 2 matches per division entered

All Middle School Singles and Doubles will play 8 game Pro Sets with a tiebreaker at 7-7 to decide the match

All High School and Adult 1st matches and winner's bracket matches will be best 2 out of 3 sets with the 3rd set being a 10 pt super tie-breaker to decide the match

All consolation bracket matches will be an 8 game pro set with a tie-breaker at 7-7 to decide the match

Cost: $40 per singles entry

$25 per person for doubles entry ($50 per doubles team)

Payment of cash or check with checks payable to Duneland Tennis; payment will be collected before player's 1st match

Communication: Weather updates will be emailed as well as posted on the Duneland Tennis Facebook page

1st Place Trophies and 2nd Place medals will be awarded

Pictures of 1st and 2nd place in each division will be posted on Duneland Tennis Facebook page

What to Bring: Along with basic equipment like racquet and athletic shoes, players should bring plenty of water. 

Bottles of water will be complimentary for participating players

1st match times will be emailed Thursday August 3rd by noon CST
