Will I be able to know what my child said during a session?
Counselors are bounded by the rules of confidentiality. The only time this will be broken is if:
Your child reports they are being hurt
Your child reports they want to hurt someone else
Your child reports they want to hurt themselves
How can I get service learning hours?
Your counselor will post community service updates through their schoology page. You can also volunteer at local animal shelters, churches, homeless shelters, hospitals, etc.
How can I get in contact with my school counselor?
You can either send them an email, a message through schoology, or ask the main office if your specific counselor is available. Appointments are preferred and given priority.
How many service learning hours do I need and when can I start?
You need 75 hours and you can start now! Your hours will transfer over to high school.
