Du represents the Latin word Dunamis which refers to latent potential.

Bara is the Aramaic word used in Genesis chapter one which translates as “he creates'' or, “to create”. Therefore Du- bara refers to the ‘potential to create’.

Dubara is committed to creating content for stage, traditional audiovisual, and social media, that stimulates good family life, social cohesion, and individual self-esteem. We strongly believe that the holistic development of self is vital to fostering the positive social transformation of communities. Therefore, we have added "The Sons of Men Initiative" (SOMI ) to our range of services. SOMI is an entrepreneurial program to assist young men who balance economic independence and social responsibility. This program is designed to target young men between 15-21.

Driven by Confucius’s philosophy “The strength of a nation derives from the integrity of the home” these plays are designed to address several domestic and social challenges faced by various Caribbean family archetypes and socially motivated groups and organizations. The aim is to ignite healing, and reconciliation, and reconstruct dysfunctional units.

SOMI targets young males between the ages of 15 and 21. It will introduce participants to secondary academics while fostering entrepreneurship. Our ultimate aim is to provide a level of exploration and education that promotes mental, social, emotional, professional, and spiritual growth, thereby creating young men who can balance economic independence and social responsibility.

Training in drama, stage/ production management, etc.
The building of localized drama groups ( clubs )
