New Courses
Doha Sub Aqua Club (DSAC) will be offering a range of new courses after the summer holidays, including a new intake for the entry-level Ocean Diver Course. We are a BSAC club (BSAC Branch 941) and one of the longest-established diving clubs in the Gulf Region. We are always delighted to have new members, from entry-level to veterans, including cross-overs from other agencies

Wreck Diver - Ongoing
DSAC will shortly run a Skill Development Course on wreck diving. This 2-day course covers both theory and practical sessions.
The course teaches divers to dive wrecks safely by understanding:
Basic wreck construction and deterioration
The dangers presented by wrecks
The practical skills necessary for using shot lines and distance lines safely
The practical skills needed for effective line laying
Planning considerations for wreck diving
Boat Handling
We will also be running a boat handling course that qualifies you to RYA - Level 2.
This course is also a mixture of classroom theory and offshore practical sessions.
Topics covered include:
Familiarisation with a boat and its equipment, including a ‘walk around’
Owner and driver responsibilities
Boat handling basics
Voyage planning considering the weather, tides, and local area
Sheltered water handling
Open water handling, including man overboard drills
Anchoring and diving, the ability to safely drop and recover divers at a dive site
Dive Leader Course (~10 weeks)- starting in Q2 2024
