Costumes

All costumes are rented and will need to be returned after the performance or brought to the studio the following week.

Dancers that wear leotards and tutus or dresses will need to wear tights that are appropriate for their complexion and ballet shoes that match the tights. Wear your class leotard (dress code leotard) when you arrive to wear during tech rehearsal, and as a base layer under the tutu/costume. Tights and leotards are the undergarments of a dancer and underwear should not be worn (just like when wearing a swimsuit) so that it is not visible from stage. 

Return costumes at or after check-out, or if you have signed up for the optional photoshoot on Dec 18th, you may return them to the studio during your class the following week.

• Costumes on a hanger labeled with the dancer's name (wrap a piece of masking tape around the hanger and write first and last name on the tape.)

•  Ballet slippers/pointe shoes that are the same color as the tights that match the dancer's complexion. 

• Jewelry, apple watches, fitbits should be left at home.
