Join us on April 22
Join us for a night of celebration as we honor the ones who paved the way before us and pass the torches along to the next generation of Black Excellence as we take the time to also acknowledge our Black Graduates of the Class of 2024. Dinner with the Elders is a night where we take a moment to thank our elders and mentors who have helped to support us in our moments of hardship and life journeys. Each student is welcome to bring one or two guests. Guests can be an elder or mentor in their life, or a faculty or staff member from Hartnell College who has helped you during your time here at Hartnell. Students will also be encouraged to share a moment of gratitude and appreciation towards their guests, whether a brief speech or a few words.
This event is RSVP only and is open to the Umoja Students of Hartnell College, Black Grads of the Class of 2024, and their guests. Food and refreshments will be provided for all in attendance. Confirmation of your attendance is requested by April 15th.
