Scholarship Rules

To be eligible to receive one of the four $500 (five hundred dollar) scholarships, the applicant must qualify by all of the following:

• Be a senior, planning to graduate no later than June 2021.
• Attend a school that received officiating services from the Dallas Football Officials Association (DFOA) in 2020. All eligible schools are listed in the tab Eligible Schools.
• Must be directly involved in the football program, e.g. a player, trainer, equipment manager.
• Have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.500 on a 4.000 scale, verified by transcript.

The deadline to submit applications is September 30, 2020. You must have a valid Gmail account in order to use the online application. Winners will be selected and notified in October.

By submitting an application, you certify that all the information is accurate and true to the fullest of your knowledge. If selected to receive a $500 scholarship, you agree to submit an official transcript to the DFOA Scholarship committee to verify eligibility for the scholarship. Upon verification, DFOA will send funds directly to the school of your choosing once enrolled and obtained a Student ID number.
