What is the difference between a vertical and a horizontal shoot?

VERTICAL SHOOT ($100)

Vertical shoots are optimized for viewing on smartphones and mobile devices, making them perfect for capturing vertically-oriented subjects, portraits, and close-ups. They are particularly popular for social media content where users primarily use their phones in portrait mode. Think of Tik Tok videos or Instagram Reels.

HORIZONTAL SHOOT ($0)

Horizontal shoots are ideal for capturing wide scenes, landscapes, group shots, and cinematic compositions. They provide a sense of width and can accommodate multiple subjects or objects within the frame. Think of YouTube videos.

What is considered "outside the loop"?

This is our outline of the Houston Map. Using this, we determine the transportation cost.

How do your monthly subscriptions (Regular Content Plan) work?

Does the shoot expire if not used?

Shoots are intended to be scheduled within each month of the subscription cycle. However, if a shoot is not scheduled within the month, it will carry over to the next cycle as long as the subscription remains active. In the event that the subscription is no longer active, any unused shoots will be forfeited.

What is the turnaround time?

Videos are delivered within 5-10 business days after shoot day.

How far in advance can I schedule my shoot?

You have the freedom to schedule your shoot immediately upon purchasing the plan, and you can schedule it up to 30 days in advance.

Can I split my videos with a friend?

Yes, this is allowed, each 'Regular content Plan' package lets you know the number of subjects that the package is applicable to. For example, "1-4 subjects" means that the package can be split between up to 4 people. However, the same shooting days and the same amount of visuals to be delivered will remain the same.

Do you offer payment plans?

Unfortunately, payment plans are not available for any of the monthly subscription options.

Can I cancel anytime?

Certainly, you have the option to cancel at any time.

Do you offer refunds?

Unfortunately, refunds are not provided due to the nature of the service.

Are revisions allowed?

Please note that DVL allows one free revision for all work provided, but then charges an additional $100 if another revision is requested. Please note that revisions would require another 4-7 business days before the final work is provided.

What happens if an extra shoot day is needed?

If you feel that you won't be able to complete all your video shoots within the allocated shoot day, you will have the opportunity to acquire an extra shoot day for the month for just $250.
