About
Changyong (CY) Yim received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in Feb. 2015 and is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department Energy Chemical Engineering at Kyungpook National University (KNU), Korea. He had experience not only academia including Postdoctoral program at University of Calgary, Canada, but also global engineering and industry field such as Samsung Electronics (Mobile Communications Business) for Galaxy series, and RIST (Research Institute of Industrial Science and Technology) for particulate matter removal process at POSCO. His research interest is focusing on energy storage device such as (micro-)supercapcitor, battery using various types of materials (MXene, Laser-induced graphene, electrospun polymer composite, and functional metal-oxide). More than that, he is interested in flashlight and laser technique for developing method in novel material synthesis & processing.
