Led Cycle Ride for New and Returning cyclists

If you have recently learned to ride and/or want to join a cycle ride with experienced ride leaders please get in touch.

Date:  Saturday September 27th

Time - 10 til 12.

Meeting place: Secret Garden Car Park, Glenfield Hospital

The location is (What Three Words) ///tilt.ranked.drum

.

Although our focus is on NHS staff any member of the public aged 17 and over who can ride a bicycle is welcome to join free of charge.  We will demonstrate how you can get to Glenfield Hospital from the city centre by using the reserved cycle tracks of Leicester.

Bring your own cycle - or, if you don't have a cycle you can book one of ours.  There is NO CHARGE for hiring our cycles (subject to availability). It's all completely free.

We have 6 folding cycles for those who want to learn to ride but don't have a cycle of their own to learn on.   It is best to reserve a cycle before you come to avoid disappointment. If you prefer you can just turn up (and if a bike is available use it). Or you can come along with your own cycle and learn on that.

Our sessions are sponsored by Cycling UK. The scheme is part of the Big Bike Revival, which is supported by Active Travel England, HM Government, and University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.
