> River Sweep:  Please join CRICCC on May 4th or May 5th at the Corning Preserve on the shore of the  Hudson River.  This event is part of their initiative that has groups, like us, up and down the shores of the Hudson River, cleaning up a section of the River.  River Sweep is sponsored by RiverKeeper,Inc.  Here is the  EVENTBRITE REGISTRATION PAGE.  You will find the May 5th Registration at the end of the page for May 4th Registration. or click here: second page on Eventbrite. > NY Renews Zoom event to review the final NY State budget on Tuesday, April 30th at 6 PM.  Details and Registration.  Also, lobby for NY Renews in early May: Registration for regional representatives.   


>  Procession to Stop Funding Climate Chaos by Third Act from 12 PM on May 3rd at SUNY Plaza @ State & Broadway.  The Red Rebel Brigade will be there.  Details.


> Community Climate Action Walk in Glens Falls from 1 PM on May 18th at City Park to Crandall Park.  Glens Falls UU will be there.  Details.

The Capital Area Climate Network (CACN) is an excellent source of happenings in the Capital District.  This network of climate activists shares information about local climate actions and campaigns. Check out their web page for a list of some of the local organizations, and join the listserve by contacting Ruth Foster at rmfosterny@gmail.com. 

The Capital Region All Green Calendar from the Sierra Club, Hudson-Mohowk Group, is a another great resource for Environmental Events in the Capital Region, NY.  These happenings are shared with you for your information, but CRICCC does not necessarily endorse every event or petition presented or every group associated with any of these postings.
