About Us

Sebastian's Balloons

When I was 10 years old, my parents gave me a balloon pump, a bag of 100 260Q Qualatex balloons, and a balloon animal tutorial CD. I sat in front of my TV and made dog after dog, parrot after parrot, and sword after bubble sword. I learned all the basics I needed, then I went to the streets, quite literally. I rode on my bicycle around my neighborhood and made balloon animals for every kid I could find. Over time, I had perfected the speed and precise twists I needed to make almost anything. I started a small business making balloon animals for my church, for my school, and eventually for festivals and fundraisers. I participated in the 2013 Round Rock (TX) Empty Bowls Festival donating half of my tips to the fundraiser and was launched into dozens of new opportunities. I continue to practice my trade and love bringing joy to the people I serve.

CredoCode

"CredoCode" started as a pseudonym I, Sebastian Hunt, used to create games. I came up with the name CredoCode as I was learning some Latin for fun. Credo, which means believe, inspired my motto that has become CredoCode's overarching statement: "Why stop at unbelievable when we can create something unimaginable". But before all of this, before I even started making games, I was a small business owner. I made balloon animals for festivals, birthday parties, and events in many places like Texas, Las Vegas, and Wisconsin. Once I grew older I became much more interested in computers and technology and decided to teach myself how to program. I started in Batch making small programs and creating a large text-based apocalypse game. I found my passion for programming and was driven to make better games. After some research, I found that Java was a great language to begin on. I went to the library, got a Java textbook that was 2 inches thick, and started teaching myself. After a while, I was making games that I was excited about but I still wasn't able to fully experience Game Design. I then found a program called "Game Maker Studio 2" which uses its own language, GML. I became obsessed and started making games for anyone and everyone. Then I began to compete and won 4th in Wisconsin FBLA for Computer Simulation and Game Design, 3rd in Wisconsin FBLA for Computer Programming, and competed in FBLA Nationals for three years in a row. I make all the art in the games or will use input images/techno art as inspiration or raw sprites as well! :)

The Future

The future contains many mysteries and unexplainable changes to life as we currently know it. I want to build both CredoCode and Sebastian's Balloons into a stable and fun work environment for all those who choose to join. There's a lot of hard work and pushing ahead until I can achieve that end goal. But, I'll be giving it my all the whole way there.
