Rick believes the way to counsel is..

“looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith”

(Hebrews 12:2)

Accordingly, he has made it an ongoing practice to study the words and life of Christ including how He ministered to and counseled others. Such a methodology introduces an eternal, purposeful direction throughout the process of counseling. Rick calls Jesus the greatest psychotherapist ever to walk on earth.

He also believes God will meet with people

at whatever point they are in their journey, whether they are believers or not.

"His grace truly is sufficient in our weakness"
