Trail Conservation and Endangered Species
Please follow these guidelines to help conserve Tewksbury's outdoor spaces and natural resources.
Leave No Trace
Any items you carry in, carry out of the trail. Leave no trash, no dumping, and no vandalism Keep the trails clean.
Look, Don't Touch
Some plant species are endangered, and touching them can cause damage. Animals should not be approached or fed.
Prohibited Actions
The Tewksbury trails are not permitted for hunting or camping. Both actions are prohibited while in these outdoor spaces.
Stay on the Trail
Avoid straying from the paths or trails in order to keep the rest of the space protected, and avoid trampling plants.
Please also note the Tewksbury Trail rules posted on the Tewksbury Trails website and on the entry kiosks of the trails.
Bring concerns about the state of the trails to the attention of the Tewksbury Open Spaces Committee, in a detailed report of the specific concern and its location.
Endangered Species
The populations of threatened, endangered, and special concern animals and plants is the responsibility of everyone in the community to protect and preserve.
