• Welcome our internship students, Ji Eun Jung,  So Hyun Kim, Hoo Min Lee, In Hye Park, and Kyu Hee Park!

 Five undergraduates joined the lab for the internship program during the winter break.  

• Min Jung Geum completed her PhD dissertation and presented her research to the committee.

• Professor Rhie had an invited webinar lecture by the American Association of College of Pharmacy (AACP) on November 5. Title: Transition to a Pharm.D. Model in Korea.

• Professor Rhie was invited to Hypertension Seoul 2020 in conjunction with the 53rd Scientific Meeting of the Korean Society of Hypertension on November 7. Title: Collaboration of Pharmacy and Physician in Hypertension Management.

• Professor Rhie was awarded for Excellence Award in Research at the 2020 Conference of Korea Clinical College of Pharmacy (KCCP) by KCCP on November 19.

• The 4 undergraduate students, Sira Choi, Youjin Han, Hyunyoung Jung, and Yunjeong Won, presented their research posters after the advanced experiential research rotation at the 2020 Conference of KCCP.

  • Poster 1. Prophylactic anticoagulant use in patients underwent hip replacement surgery using OMOP CDM (Sira Choi, Youjin Han) 

  • Poster 2. Comparing the efficacy of ceftriaxone and clarithromycin for community-acquired pneumonia in patients over 65-year-old and over 18-year-old (Hyunyoung Jung) 

  • Poster 3. Vancomycin and metronidazole for the treatment of Clostridium difficile infection in OMOP-CDM (Yunjeong Won)  

  • Poster 4. Prescribing patterns of empirical antibiotics for the clinically suspected pneumonia using OMOP-CDM (Chungsoo Kim. Ajou University College of Medicine, Awarded on Excellency Award in poster presentation)

• The 22nd Symposium of Research Institute for Pharmaceutical Sciences (Director Professor Rhie) on October 8

• Research Day on October 13 (Presenters: Sira Choi, Hyunyoung Jung, Youjin Han, Yunjeong Won)  

• The research "Pharmacy services at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games" published in British Journal of Sports Medicine (IF 11.645, JCR rank 1위) was listed as one of the top 5 researches of the College of Pharmacy.
